same here. I might grab a shirt but the discounts are not that great, unless you're in the market for a jacket/coat

Yup, top left is where you can change your location. Germany 50% (+15€ shipping), US 80% (+ shipping free) :fu:. But can't shop for US prices because the country is set at the checkout.

Have your orders from Dope factory shipped already? I have no communication from them after making the payment.

So, basically customers in the US get a much better deal than those in the company's home market of the UK? Surely not?

^for some reason, mrporter stages their drops; drops at the american site precede the uk site by several weeks.

    Weeks?
So we've (I guess that's the case for Germany, too, then) got to wait until August or what? Won't the sale have ended until then?

^I don't know exactly how long, I believe at least 3 (an additional 10%/week), but yes, last winter the sale ended on the us site, but was on-going on the uk site.

Were more UK customers aware of this fact, I'd wager MrPorter would lose a good bit of business. I mean, I'm not naive about all of this, and people will buy with their wallets most of the time, but a little annoying that UK customers, some us pretty loyal ones who othersie make a point of singing MrPorter's virtues, are left with the scraps of the sale.

They are two different sites with different stock. And they probably get more of their business from the US so deal with it

So set your currency to USD and create another account.
Then you can buy from the US site.
At least it works the other way (i.e set to GBP and ship to US).

Do they subtract VAT when shipping to the States?

I think this is correct. US customers aren't getting access to the stock at sales prices and cleaning it out so that the rest of the world just gets the scraps. Totally different inventories. Just be patient.
