Bureau Belfast had more drops. There are some nice things to be had, but it's getting picked over.

I just ordered some Cabourn trousers at 60% off.

My lawd. Are people really asking for more drops and additional discount codes for TheCorner? Man Mr. Porter's crazy sale has got people getting greedy as sin.

I can understand waiting for sales, as most things eventually do get discounted, and you don't want to pay way more than you have to for something- but when stuff is already at 50-60%+ off and you still want further discounts then you just greedy... or you're lusting after shit that's out of your price range and you just need to admit it to yourself. Also, I'm tired of all the "will this go to X percent off?" and the "when does x store go to 80% off?" and the "why hasn't X brand been discounted past 50%?"... i mean fuck.

I think there's two ways to look at buying stuff. One is to look for sales and maybe find something. But, then there is always the chance you could find it cheaper somewhere else, or it could go on sale further! We don't want to buy the item at the current sale price because we don't actually like it.

Or, just look for items you truly like and for which you are willing to pay full retail. If it happens to go on sale, that's great. Otherwise, just buy it and be happy with it. I can almost guarantee that this will result in fewer regrettable purchases.

Can anyone give me some info on how the sales go this time of the year? I know alot of things are 30 to 40% off with a few items being at 50%. Will online retailers eventually liquidate the remainig stock at 50-70% off in the next couple of weeks?

    Yo... Reading comprehension.

No one is saying don't buy at sales, ever. People are saying 1. be smart about it and don't just buy to buy, 2. people are getting rediculous with expecting insane sales i.e. 80% off everywhere

I usually wait for 40-50. I do make an exception for Porter since their customer service is so fantastic, do not mind paying a premium for such great service

95% is weak, wait for -10%, I will accept no less than 10% of retail for the privilege of having me as a customer

You're right guys. Who wants to save money? Why ask if it'll go on for more sale, just buy it for more than the lowest price you can get it for. The economy is doing great, there are more jobs than bodies to fill, and SOPA is great for the internet community. amirite?
