Hey guys, Just got an email from Karl at Rogue Territory. 25% off all stock with code 25THX2011

Just picked up a pair of Dark Stantons i'd been contemplating.

Also, got my RK ISC's about 3 weeks ago. Have been neglecting all my other raw's due to how amazing and comfortable these are. I'm in love with RT.

I believe people have warned against buying from Caliroots in the past, at least if you live in the US. I forget whether it was obscene shipping charges, not deducting VAT, always getting caught in customs, or some combination of the above.

Also, I haven't perused the site, but I got an email from Barney's saying they added new stuff to the sale.

I just came here to say that I also think that whatever123 is a complete moron who think he knows about economics.

How could anyone think that it is the consumers' responsibility to ensure that producers' utility is maximized? The fact that these businesses still exist as we speak right now means that they are and have been profitable at what they do. Since "sales" and coupons aren't a recent development, I hardly think they are driving themselves out of business by offering them.

Remember supply and demand? If the price for a good or service becomes too low, eventually it will stop being produced.

I also think whatever123 grossly underestimates the markup on these things. Even at 60% off they are at the very least breaking even I'm sure.

The idea behind adjusting rates in B&S would be to make the market move faster. The majority of complaints I hear are that the market does not move fast enough because there is no incentive for sellers to ever drop prices. This is a failure of the pricing system - where prices are possibly too low to encourage sellers to have quick turnover, which drives the "economy" of the B&S forum.

There are some very simple rules in B&S, and they are not at all draconian. They are designed to:
    1) Make the listings system easy for both long term users and newbies to use
    2) Decrease moderation strain by remove artificial constraints on the market (like the bump only if prices are dropped, which, you'll remember, was never there to begin with) by taking away the obvious ways of abusing the system (see Sufu).
    3) Protect the database (thus, the "do not remove information" rule, which is hardly onerous.)

The money we get from it is minimal. Doesn't cover anything - maybe in the future it will be a money maker. Right now, it's nothing. It's really for the above.

Got my order from TBS. Talk about fast. And they also valued the contents at 34 euros to avoid customs fees. TBS :slayer:
