James Perse sample sale has been going on in Marina del Ray since Friday. Not sure how they are restocking but and ends tomorrow. I went Friday and there was tons of everything (slightly more women's then men). Got the exact shorts and pants I was looking for so I was stoked. They had some nice footwear too. Birks for 70, dkshdw Ramone's, slip on, and those sock boot things for 250. Also golden goose, danner, and some other designers. Some nice 400 dollar cashmere blankets if it's your thing. Check everything tho since it is damaged goods mixed with deadstock. Priced more like an outlet then what you might expect at a true sample sale.

I was in Scoop NYC this weekend (the Rush St location in Chicago) and they said all their stores are closing. Discounts were pretty whack thus far and everything was final sale, but who knows? Could get good for you or your lady.

Scoop used to have good sample sales from what I heard. Every once in a while people would proxy. They used to carry Margiela etc. Racked reports that they're closing too.
