mr porter UK decided to implement the new site design a couple of days ago and in the process a lot of the sale inventory has just disappeared. complete mess. nothing surprises me with Mr Porter - why on earth would roll out a major site refresh during your sale period?

So I bought something from Independence's sale on Tuesday, and noticed today that the amount is still sitting as preauthorized on my card, and I haven't gotten any kind of confirmation email yet. I tried calling them this morning to check that my order went through, but no one picked up. Left them an email but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone with experience buying from there that can comment if that's a normal window of time for an order to still be unconfirmed, or nah?
