+1 I usually go with my normal size for CP (at least for achilles) and it fits just fine. I'm a regular US8 medium width (occasionally 8.5 in some smaller fitting sneakers) and 41 works just fine. How the fuck are you people that are an 8.5US fitting into CP40 or finding a CP39 too big???

agree I actually go 1/2 size up, usually 10.5US and wear 44 in CP lows.

(and if anyone got the light grey mids in 44 from the corner and it doesn't work out lmk)

I just ordered 2 pairs and 1 will go back. $6 return fee was worth the security of knowing I got the right size.

I always thought your CP size was like the first thing you learned as a member of SF. A rite of passage.

Size 9us, slightly wider feet. 41 is pretty good in length but too tight in the width. Think you can size down 1 if you've got "normal" to narrow feet, otherwise they're just too tight.

Any Canadians having trouble ordering from Mr. Porter? They agreed to ship to my US address (freight receiving company) and then charged me $20 for Canada Express shipping. Fixed that then made me call my bank to verify the transaction and get some authorization code so they could dispatch my order. Ok finally, everything's all sorted. Nope, now they're telling me that I cannot ship to the US address because it's a freight forwarding company, has to be a residential address listed under my credit card.

How are you guys getting around this, or are you just paying the 30%+ duties / taxes and shipping? I have 48 hours before they cancel my order.

I did the same run around with the credit card authorization code, and last I heard they were sending it to the (American) residential address of a friend of mine. There was no stipulation that it had to be an address linked to the credit card. Here's hoping that doesn't change.

Credit card info and billing address all verified, transaction completed, but I can't ship to wherever I want. What a pain. Anyone in Washington can help me out? Just need you to forward to TSB Shipping at Point Roberts so I can drive across the border and pickup.
