Really, CPs aren't anything to get excited about. They're just really good looking beater/lazy stuff. They're easy go-to sneakers. Same with margiela gats for me, except MMM gets really iffy really fast.

Which is precisely why a sale on them is awesome. At $400, they are not really worth it, at least, not for me, but for under $200, it's a no brainer, since I wear them (or these new Alejandro Ingelmo's, surprisingly nice) every day. For something really special, like Alfred Sargent's new country boots, or the pair of tan Trickers I am going to get with navy blue soles, I'm not going to be torn about dropping 3x a much on, since they are really special.

Debating buying the CP sidezips with the seam going down the middle. On one hand it looks stupid, on the other hand I feel like I'm the only one who cares/notices.

I have been wanting some white achilles lows or decent captoes, but even at ssense's $270 I can still hold off. Wish I was around for this sale.

Go with sidezips sizing. 42 will be ok though, I found that for cp boots/shoes you will be ok in width but it will be a little on the long side in length.
