Apologies if this is not appropriate for this thread, but does anyone know if there are certain items Mr. Porter does not ever put on sale? There is a piece from DBF that has been up for like 3 months and hasn't gone on sale while a lot of other pieces have despite only being sold out of one size. Just curious if it is realistic to assume it will go on sale eventually!

There are occasional brand restrictions. The classic gucci bit loafers for example won’t go on sale. For DBF I think it just timing so will go on sale eventually assuming it doesn’t sell out.

Just to add to this, the things that ostensibly will not go on sale are typically marked “core”, though sometimes that designation is… aspirational.
