Carson Street was one of my favorite shops in NYC. I bought a lot of stuff from them over the last 3 years. They had fantastic in store customer service. I recognize they may have had some issues with e-commerce. I thought their buys were generally strong. Overall, a great group of people.

Retail seems brutal these days and a number of my favorite shops in NYC have either closed or have scaled down. Guess it's good for my wallet. Either that or Barneys and Bergdorf will get a bigger share of my spend.

Lets not forget the joy of haggling down a price on higher budget items on the last few days a store is open, knowing they're desperate.

the us version of this site is pricier than european counterparts fyi. the item i was looking at was 300 with discount but jumped to 400 when i selected USA
