As always with the Steve Alan sample sale, "starts Thursday" means "starts Wednesday" but they don't announce it to control the size of the crowd. Usually it opens Thursday around 4pm. Same for the LA one.

A Steven Alan rep posted on thechoosybeggar.com that they are going to be strict about who can get into the "press preview" day on Wednesday this year. So you may want to hold off going until Thursday.

that would be an awesome deal, but they have limited sizes and only "sand" color, oos for the brown leather.

i still cannot fathom who buys this steven alan stuff. i owned a few polos and shirts, and the quality sucked so bad and they fit like a square box...

found it, just add a cheap filler and these are $120, ridiculous. I'd much rather have the brown leather, but I may bite on the sand for this price.

FYI, this was not the case at the Barneys in Boston. The SA said he'd let me presale for the next sale, which is the 27th and includes a lot of designer stuff, and a lot of the coop is on sale. I picked up an Engineered Garments baker jacket at 40% off, a great deal.
