Ugh, bad news. 10+ hours on a plane-level comfort is what I'm looking for.

Best option for a long plane flight is the Bose QC20. I never thought I'd own Blose, but they are the best noise isolating headphones around and sound quality is pretty good. If you've tried the QC15, these have much improved sound quality. I haven't tried the new QC25. And just for reference, I own UE TripleFi 10, Senn Momentums, and PSB M4U 2 and use the Bose exclusively for plane travel.

Bose just wins hands down in noise cancellation. I can get those PSB for like $10 cheaper than the bose, but I still go with the bose.

Someone once told me about noise cancellation, and I liked the concept so much I stopped taking off my clothes at night. i just put on the inverse of whatever I'm currently wearing. works well
