Math illiteracy strikes again.

If you take 30% off, and then take 25% off that, you're not taking 55% off the initial total.

.7*.75 = .525 = 47.5% off

i work in retail and this crap happens all the damn time. I feel like im in the 3rd grade again explaining to people that the register is right...

i even have had people ask me how much something is when its 50% off and the original price is right on the tag....
