Speaking of Huddersfield... we had a customer request a really interesting suit in this material. This is the Navy Pique, and he commissioned a very trad sack jacket with patch & flap pockets, full canvas, two-button functional cuffs, and larger old-school stitching. Came out really great!

I received an absolutely beautiful suit makeup in our Pendleton Mid-Century navy wool.

This is the Nuovo sportcoat, done with open patch hip pockets. We made a matching plain front trouser with it.

This wool is amazing. It's woven in Oregon, and a deadstock product that's a bit over a decade old. It's a little heavier than the usual suiting weight, and has a very subtle old-school vibe to it. The drape is excellent.

We have enough left for just a handful of garments, and it's available to order in all of our shapes. Pricing is really great for it.

You can check out the categories through this link

Do you guys have the pattern for the old Southwick Cambridge suit?

Edit: I see you do! I’ve got a Southwick Factory MTO Cambridge that I had made a little while ago that has gotten too small for me. I’ve been looking for a suitable replacement for a while. Do you happen to have a size chart for the jacket?

LAST CALL FOR 20% OFF FOX BROTHERS

Hey guys,

Our discount code ends at midnight this evening (Thurs, 6/11). If you've been thinking about ordering one of these beautiful fabrics, then this is the best time to do it!

You can see the four categories (sportcoats & suits, trousers, Doyles & Tebas, Overcoats) at this link.

Use the code fox20 at checkout for the 20% discount.

If you're unsure of sizing but you want to get your order in, just make your best guess and write "Hold for Sizing" in the checkout notes. I'll follow up later this week and we'll nail down your sizing. They need to order the fabric from England - which takes a week or so - and we won't lose any time if we spend a few days determining exactly what you need.

A Modern Take on a Legendary Outdoorsman Fabric
Offered in Partnership with Styleforum and Rochester Tailored Clothing at a Great Price

Hey everyone!

As a Styleforum affiliate for over 15 years, I'm super excited to introduce this new collaborative project. We're working with Rochester Tailored Clothing (based out of the original Hickey Freeman factory in New York) to offer a beautiful range of custom clothing in our exclusive "Alpine Loden" wool blend.

We're collecting orders now for delivery between end-August and mid-September. We've discounted the MSRP by 15% and your brand new garments will arrive before the start of Fall. Orders will be open until the first week of July.

For centuries, Loden wool has been woven in Tirol - the mountainous region between Italy and Austria. This rugged cloth is often considered to be one of the first performance fabrics, as its finishing process made it uniquely resistant against cold and wetness.

For this project, we've sourced an exceptional and modern iteration of this storied fabric. Its standout features include:

1) Woven in Italy in an 18oz blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon.

2) Compared to traditional Loden, Alpine Loden is lighter, more durable, and more wind resistant. It protects against light moisture from drizzling or snow.

3) It's very comfortable. Traditional Loden is quite coarse, and many wool-nylon blends are rigid. Alpine Loden has a nice hand and a wonderful drape.

We're offering Sportcoats, Suits, Trousers, Overcoats, Chore Coats, Teba Jackets, and Field Jackets. We can make any size and any length. Your garments will be made expressly for you.

There's a lot to talk about, so let me start with the direct links to each item....

Custom Sportcoats and Suits in Alpine Loden: From $1100

Custom Overcoats in Alpine Loden: From $1440

Custom Teba Jackets, Chore Coats, and Field Jackets: From $505.75

Custom Trousers: From $382

The 7PM light perfectly brought out the complex tones of this beautiful navy herringbone from Harris Tweed

This sportcoat is a custom makeup for one of our best clients. It's designed with slimmer lapels and a ticket pocket.

As always, it's crafted in the USA with love and precision by our friends at RTC

Drop me a line to commission one for yourself! We have over 20 varieties of Harris Tweed available. 💪🏻

Washed Howitzer Khaki Lead.jpg

Woven in the UK, Dyed & Enzyme Washed in the USA
10 units are available

This incredible fabric was a personal project for me. My concept is to deliver is brand new custom trouser that looks and feels like a broken in and beloved vintage pair.

I began with a gorgeous 10oz white cotton twill from Brisbane Moss in the UK. This base cloth was reactive dyed to a perfect light khaki tan and then enzyme washed twice. The resulting fabric is beautifully softened and broken in. It's also entirely pre-shrunk and machine washable.

By treating the cloth before its sewn, your resulting custom trousers will be easy and comfortable from the first wear. And since Brisbane Moss twills are deservedly famous for their strength.. you can be confident that these trousers will serve you well and age wonderfully. The 10oz weight is wearable all year round.

I have enough cloth for approximately 10 units. You are going to love these!

Custom Trousers in Brisbane Moss Dyed & Enzyme Washed 10oz Twill: $285

Focusing on individual Alpine Loden items... I'm really thrilled with how our Teba jacket made up in this fabric.

You can check it out on our site here

If you're not familiar with it.. the Teba is a classic Spanish hunting jacket. The traditional design is quite boxy, and we modified the fit for a more tailored and athletic silhouette. I can't say if our jacket is the first American-made Teba, but it's definitely the only present American-made Teba, and one of the only made-to-order Teba jackets in the world.

For the sample, I used a "vicuna" colored suede (just the color, not actual vicuna) for elbow patches and an undercollar accent. I love how these two materials jibed together:

Fireworks Herringbone Alt.jpg

CUSTOM TROUSERS IN RADIANT SCOTTISH TWEED: 4 UNITS ONLY

We're back with another incredible fabric find! This time it's a gorgeous pure lambswool tweed from Magee of Scotland.

This "Fireworks Herringbone" matches a duotone herringbone weave to bold multicolored flecks. The herrinbone is a soft mixture of cream and dove grey. The flecks are dark scarlet and cyan blue. We absolutely adore this fabric as a trouser! The base tones are neutral, allowing it to easily tie back to nearly any shirt and jacket.

The colorful accents and the amazing texture really make it distinct. And its 15oz weight will keep you warm throughout the entire Fall season. Stock is limited and pricing is about 30% under the usual MSRP for a top shelf fabric like this.

Custom Trousers in Magee Fireworks Herringbone Tweed: $345
