Have the Moscow offered from NMWA this current F/W season. It is serious business. Will find a pic or two and X-post here.

I will pull the trigger on either a Raincho or the Rive Gauche, maybe the latter so that I don't match my wife too much. Delayed a month because 1) Spent too much on good food in Paris, 2) Spent too much on my wife for Valentine's Day, including one of the said Rainchos, and 3) the dishwasher gave up its ghost, at long last. But maybe I'll get it for spring rainy season in NYC, when we predict our next installment of The Proper Kit Trunk Show.

Very impressive brand, the material is quite unique and the aesthetic too !
I really feel like trying one of the unisex models (Raincho, Rive Gauche, Cape), as i think the classic models are a bit too clean.

That is the Raincho. I cannot stress how badass the shape of that garment is. You have to own it though. It is not a timid garment. It's like Marlon Brando's Perfecto or James Dean's red Harrington or Steve McQueen's bomber. Either you own it and pull it off, or you look like a leather daddy, a recreational golfer in Palm Springs, or an off duty cop, respectively.

Nice. And excellent color choice. The color, irl, looks a lot like this:

Awesome. Was tempted by the army green hopsack too, but ultimately I'm a sucker for pretty much anything grey

The classic models are nice. Really nice. And if you are looking for something that is going to look good on you, and you are not looking to make a statement, those are great models.

But definitely, the unisex models are more badass. Of course, they are also hard to pull off. You have to have a stronger self-image to do it. Those garments can work for any number of styles, but they really require that you have a very coherent personal style to make them your own.

I would say that the Moscow is also very directional. It says "I'm a freakin' Viking. Come at me."

Moscow gives me a General Officer vibe. I feel like I ought to be reviewing the fleet or
    something.

Greg was willing to add an s-cape to his order for me (in mixed black). Am a bit worried about my ability to "own it", but mostly I just want my pants to stay dry and have decided not to care.

I intentionally sized up on my SB (with liner) to wear over sport coats. It's perfect as long as you add one size up for the liner and one size for wearing over another coat.

I was just talking about this with my wife this morning. The S-Cape is possibly the most functional garment for Bergen itself. I spent a summer there (so, the non-rainy season) and it still rained a ton. And when it rains in Bergen, it is not a drizzle. I would go running in the mountains in the rain, and seriously, I was soaked through when I got back and could fill up a large bucket with the rain water I'd accumulated in my clothes. An S-cape, you can keep everything youare carrying, including a messenger bag, a backpack, whatever, under it, and be completely dry. The length will also ensure that you don't have a very wet patch between your knees and the beginning of your boots, which will happen with shorter or tighter coats in that type of torrential rain. And if you need to do something, simply stick out your arms. Boom, done.

Incidentally, all the rain plus the amazing scenery makes Bergen an awesome place for a "cozy, go out for excursions but let's stay in and chill" type of romantic vacation.

    That would also be excellent.

    "The fleet is ready, Admiral"
"Very good. We ship out tomorrow."
    "Is the plan sound?"
"God willing. the 10th fleet with stop the U-boats in the North Sea, That supply convoy has got to get through. The storms plays in our favor today."
    "Godspeed."
"Aye, I have a feeling we'll need it."
