i could totally profit off of the WH10's that I picked up. Not selling them thoooo.

heck, I could even profit off of my DSL401 that I found on the cheap.

Same here, I think. I typically find Teles to look a little too plain, so I usually can't picture myself getting one. Then I see someone play the hell out of one and it reminds me that they only look plain when they're not being used. In the right hands, these things are awesome.

Case in point, this guy (Tim Gearan) plays around the Cambridge/Boston area week-after-week, and I'm always in awe of his guitarwork. His tele looks to have P90 at the neck, a humbucker at the bridge, and some contouring for the arm (like a strat).

Warmoth offers both the arm contour and the "tummy cut" similar to a strat on a tele body. Makes the guitar look much less like a block.

Nice find. Guitar Center has had some good used pieces recently -- actually found interesting stuff locally, including a Tele that's put the refin we had talked about on hold.

My guitar center has had some fantastic used gear recently as well.

Tried to take 15 minutes to go onto the Fender webpage and boil down what the differences are between the pages and pages of stratocasters they produce, and how that correlates to price. Still dumbfounded.

Classic Players / Vibes, Standards, Deluxes, Deluxe Standards, FSRs, Ultras, Specials... :brick:

Especially now that you're seeing Squires priced higher than MIMs, and MIMs approaching $700 to compete w/ lower level MIAs. Products w/o obvious, distinguishing features are just anathema to me.
