Wasn't the dude that Arya met Roberts bastard son? If so, he seems like a big deal.

Genuine questions, how do non-readers view the ending of the season? Personally for me I felt as if the books didn't really start off until the last scene because... well, mother ******* dragons. EDIT: Also can't see how they keep doing 10 episodes per book per season... either seasons are going to be longer (best choice) or they're going to mess with the story in terms of condensing, cutting, etc.

I felt the same when I saw him. I foresee a good new addition to the cast for season 2.

One thing that really stuck out for me in this episode is that it seemed to be exceptionally well written in terms of dialog.

I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of descretion in posting book spoilers. From this point I really don't want to make it another discussion, but suffice to say the season 2 thread will be watched more intently. My only concern is that being someone who hasn't read ASOFAI, it'll e difficult for me to know what should be deleted. Either way I'll make the OP for it and put some ground rules down so we're all clear.

I'm starting to like the hound. From what I see, it looks like he wants Sansa to be safe. Joffrey will get whats coming to him.

re: episode 10, hopefully this show doesn't go down the super cheesy route. Loved the dragons but Sam and his Nightwatch buddies reciting the pledge before they all blow Jon was a little bit over the top.

Just read the thread moron, spoiler tag or no, warning or no, there is another thread for book talk. Only the last 4 pages of this thread or so have gone into detail over it.
