yes, the cat desecration is just as fucked up.

in a show where magic is practiced, i wouldnt worry about the horse carrying that burden.

and i agree, they should put on the crown for full effect.

Hasn't worn one yet as far as I know, so introducing it now could be a bit silly? The only one who has besides Joff is Renly I think.

So happy for Ayra and Davos scenes. They really made the episode. Davos has been so undersold. He's such a major character, but they've basically had him in such a limited role. Finally he carried an episode.

Speaking of underutilized. Is Ser Barristan just a prop?

Otherwise it was a little slow and really no river funeral rites, no Nymeria. Wow, that disappoints.

Actually, she never reneged on a deal at all. The whole point was that he had a slaver's mentality and assumed dragons could be controlled in the same manner as his trained slaves. She gave the dragon to him as agreed, the fact that he could not control the dragon and it killed him was not on Dany.

Arya's last scene in the finale was an example of how much her story has gotten short shrift. The people that get killed in that fight aren't supposed to be randoms thugs, but people whose death carries a great deal of meaning for the character. It's the one moment of triumph, small as it is, for the Starks in the entire book. Here it's just Arya throwing a murderous tantrum.

Otherwise I liked it. And the first Arya scene was heartbreaking, moreso than last week. I was, however, disappointed about the lack of

Finally watched it. Had to DVR so I could watch the Heat game

Totally disappointed in this finale. I mean...really. They should have ended it with the Red Wedding if they weren't going to meaningfully progress the story before ending the season

Absolutely. Killing the Tickler and reciting his inquiry to him was so important. It was important to her as a character and cathartic to the reader.

I'm not sure, but they have to have a battle later when Sandor is critically wounded. So, she will still meet the Mountain's men.

Oh, and with Asha sailing for the Dreadfort, (which is on the opposite side of Westeros than where she lands and meets Stannis) she won't be at the Kingsmoot next season or even the one after that. I'm completely confused by that plot line.

    wat?

agree with scurvy, aryas scene and davos' play were the best parts. lol @ the hound "next you are going to do that, tell me first."

and agree with munch, arya seeing the robb-wolf was heartbreaking.

the scene with tywin, tyrion, cersei, joffrey, pycelle (aka, old dusty dickbag) and varys, was excellent.

that makes all 3 seasons ending with danny. i have high hopes for her.

all in all, thought the episode was not bad at all.
