1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

well, the key was getting out of kings landing and away from crazy joffrey. even if she didn't get back to rob, littlefinger would be bringing her to her aunt's kingdom.

    marrying tyrion keeps her close

Robert Arryn or "Robin Arryn" on the show because if people actually had the same names like real Royal Houses it would confuse stupid tv viewers.

He's Lord of the Vale of Arryn, but not Warden of the East. I believe Tywin had Jaime bestowed with that title angering Lyssa. That said, Littlefinger is Lord Protector of the Riverlands and he's not their either, so what's the real benefit.

considering his sword swallowing, that would have been miserable. she is better off in a sense this way. tyrion will do his best to protect her and wont shoot her up with a cross bow.

joffreys death will not be nearly as horrific as it should be. he needs the theon treatment

Beat me to it (no pun intended). Loras might be the pretty boy every girl wants to marry, but he also wants a pretty boy for himself. Sansa would have been safer, I suppose, but still not in a normal relationship.

Of course, but (1) she doesn't know that, and (2) Sansa wants to get away from Joffrey more than she wants to be with Loras.

She still believes in the perfect knight who will protect the weak and innocent. She sees Ser Loras as that perfect knight. He can physically protect her, but also meets her other needs. He's not threatening physically because he's more effeminate than Sandor Clegane, who could better protect her and offered to take her away- granted he was covered in blood and stunk of wine at the time. Sandor even protects Ser Loras from Gregor.

Oh, how I wish for Garlan Tyrell and the cripple Willas. How could a Paramount family have only one child? Just makes so little sense.

Arryns are different. Lord Arryn had several prior wives and little success. Lysa had the situation with tansy tea and by that time Lord Jon was very aged.

Plus the Reach is very wealthy with resources. Mace Tyrell was married at a reasonable age. One son...

King Stannis has only one daughter, but Selyse has been pregnant many times. He does his duty to make an heir with his wife.

The Starks have lots of kids.

The Lannisters three children and the third killed Tywin's wife in childbed and he never took another wife.

Four children for the Greyjoys who live with no farmland.

The Martells are not yet introduced. How many of Prince Doran's kids will be eliminated from the story in Dorne?

 This is one of the easiest to follow threads of the current season. C'mon now have you been SF'ing through every episode?

A naked man has few secrets. A flayed man has none.

How many kids does he have? I thought it was just the son and daughter, but I'm too lazy to dig one of the books off the shelf and check the lineage table.

Doran has three children. Oberyn has a bunch of baseborn daughters, of which we see 7, but it's suggested that there are more
