1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

A buddy of mine works as a sales associate and keyholder at one of Hugo Boss' retail stores. He just informed me that they're having a big sale/price reduction on suits in stores. I went in and picked up a suit originally priced at 999 (retail obviously), reduced to 549. Bought it for 350. I know HB isn't the most popular brand among SF users, but for 350 I'd say it's a decent purchase. At least something worth checking out.

My buddy said they aren't advertising it heavily, so just wanted to pass on the information.

The prices were a bit scattered when I went. They're having the standard after holiday sale that's also available online, but I cross checked the suits I found on sale within the store online, and they were not available for the reduced price online.

Most of the suits ranged between 350 and 550 (originally 999 - 1300), and there were even a couple for 300.

The one I bought was a standard grey suit. Can't complain for the price. Better than any suit I could find at Macy's for the same price.

A pair of those pants proved to be my worst purchase ever. The arse ripped open the first time I wore them....

Big deals to be had at the Harry Rosen outlet.

Gaziano & Girling for RLPL (Garrick model) down to $275

    Testoni black label at $275

    Cucinelli (Cordovan?) down to $399

    All SCs at 40% off

$150 kicker if you spend at least $750.

Meh tie selection. I guess the good ones were picked clean.

    Decent suit selection.

Buy one trouser, get second one free.

Note that the SC promo can be stacked with the kicker.

Hey guys, I can do a group proxy if I can get at least 3 people on board.

    I saw sizes:

    7.5uk/8

    9uk/9.5

    And possibly larger.

    Chestnut and dark brown colours.

    Some minimal shop wear.

Note that RL GG shoes are 'D' width.

Will charge small proxy fee + shipping.

    Hey guys,

Samuelsohn is doing their annual MTM for clearance fabrics (starting Jan 15 at Harry Rosen).

Don't know pricing yet, but likely starting at $1k range (based on past events).

If you're in the US, might be a good time to take advantage of the exchange rate to get MTM for sub-$1000.

    Edit: Prices as follows

    AA: $1095

    BB: $1195

    CC: $1295

    DD: $1395

For people in and around the NY metro area, Century 21 has a lot of Isaia on clearance right now, reckon 100-150 suits. Some suits were as low as $450, though they are a bit more esoteric fabric choices. Average price was around $550.

Don't recall. It's not my size and Isaia doe not fit me well, so I was not actively investigating.
