no one on the board is familiar with that site. do you recommend we check it out?
is the sizing US or UK? 7.5 UK might be a little big, but I'd get an 8 US
It is US. I don't think AE lists shoes in anything but US sizes.
AE makes for RL? learn something new everyday.
TMLewin.com is having their 5 shirts/ties for $160 again. For $32, they're awesome. Make sure to order ~1" longer on the sleeves than you normally would.
I'm like, totally amazed at how shitty all of those look
Looks like a great deal. Do you know how long the sale lasts? I couldn't figure that out from the website. And how frequently do the sales occur?
The sale normally lasts around a week to a week and a half, and happens maybe once every 3-4 months? I apologize for the vagueness!
If you're near Princeton, NJ, Nick Hilton has a deal until the end of the month where you can get $100 off any purchase over $300. I'm not sure if you have to have the email or not (there's no code) but I just copped a pair of Alden wingtips for $100 off!
Wow, TM Lewin's fully fitted shirts kind of suck pattern/colour wise. No wonder they are trying to get rid of them!
This is helpful, thanks
I think the selection looks really good, actually
I should have clarified. I did not see wardrobe staples. I saw a lot of dark colors, I prefer lighter colours. Maybe just my size?
Bought a Ted Baker tie today for 18.00. SA said the store is scheduled to close in Dec, so there maybe a loong way to go before we see prices fall.
Also saw a Boglioli SC for ~ 400.00 but not in my size
What happens to the pricing if you don't keep all of the shirts?
I can't tell if slim or fully fitted would be better (in most shirts, the chest gets too tight before I have lost enough fabric from the waist and the fully fitted seems to go really small in the chest) so it might be nice to order 3 of one, 2 of the other and just keep the set that fits.
Of course this doesn't work if they only refund down to the price of 2-3 shirts.
