You are not kidding. About 25-30 pieces of paper with their rules / faq / prices pasted to the window. Then they get a bit huffy if you ask them anything!

Probably should have posted this sooner, but the Fedex guy just dropped off the pair I ordered.

Amazon has J&M Runnel (suede chukka) boots in navy for $65 shipped. Limited sizes though.

The Santoni staff has to be the rudest sales staff I have ever talked to on the phone. Hands down worst experience ever talking to these folks.

They are a pair of Pricks, (at least the two I came across).
Had a long weekend in NY with my wife last month, the usual stuff, dining & retail therapy.
My wife was in Barney's, so i ventured up Madison & 'stumbled' across the store. One of the guys was smoking out front and another talking on the phone. Very difficult to get either's attention and they seemed pissed at the prospect of answering questions. Not surprised they are closing. 'Lost our Lease', is also a lame excuse for 'our crap service/business model' failed miserably.
I ended up with a pair of Lobbs and sensational service down the street.
