Anyone familiar with the front rise of the 4 pocket pants? Per the waist measurements, I can't tell if i'd be a size 30 or 32. I normally need a 31" waist if the rise is a bit higher (say, around 12").
It's a pretty standard mid-rise - my size 28 have a 9" rise and they sit on my hips.

My 30 bedford cord 4pockets have an 11” rise and tend to rest an inch below my navel.

I made it in to Evan's studio for the first time over the weekend and will work on a write-up to share my thoughts and photos

On a side note, I'm on the hunt for a pair of last fall/winter's Single Pleat Pants in size 34 or 36 in the Lambswool/Cashmere Herringbone. Willing to pay a premium for them. Also have a solid collection of EK to trade

So I think this is the intended fit? Size XS. Worn with a shirt and a couple different weights of sweater. Blue is a brushed shetland and the burgundy is a heavier IM wool sweater. Plenty comfortable, I wouldn't say like oversized, but shoulders still dropped a bit. @faue why is your friend thinking about getting rid of his size S?
