There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ordered one of the BaBar print shirts from The Goodhood Store. Shipped via UPS and I was hit with $52 in fees on a $210 package. Good times.

They deduct vat as of 3 months ago when I asked. I think they credit you back after you check out.

Yeah, ordered from TBS a two weeks ago. 900 euro item, no duties. Thank god, I would have been hit hard. By far my favorite shop, super fast shipping and very friendly customer service.

just got a DHL customs invoice for $93 for my balenciagas from ln-cc today. What the hell? I'm assuming this is a mistake on their part since the ln-cc site says all pricing is inclusive of customs. Hopefully they sort it out. No one here has had to deal with anything similar, have they?

Followup to my earlier post. I ordered a barbour ashby jacket and hood from country attire and didn't have to pay any customs.

Anyone in Canada order from Farfetch? They claim on their website that all customs and duties are included in your final cost but they ship with DHL who does if I recall sometimes charge brokerage.

Yeah but they should ship DDP, meaning the duties go to them instead of you

This is going to work out fine. Email LN-CC and tell them. They will sort it out. It happened with me once when ordering from LN-CC and they took care of it.

Fucking spenceclothing customs bill came with my margielas today. More than 10% of the item price, probably won't order from them again.

Anybody here buy shoes from Skoaktiebolaget in Stockholm? How was the customs experience? Feel free to PM if you'd rather not tell the world.

In the Skoaktiebolaget thread they say they ship via postal service.
So for 'murricans chances are slim to none having to pay anything.
    YMMV for Canada.

IME, I'd say most certainly I'd get hit by customs. Those Canadian officers seldom miss a chance to take a buck out of my pocket. I was just wondering if Skoaktiebolaget were willing to help keep my costs down.

Any other Canadians have experiences ordering Jeans through Gustin in San Francisco? Do they fall under NAFTA or am I getting a little surprise when they show up at my door?

    Bought something from Pockets (pockets.co.uk).
Their website says they ship via DHL and/or Royal Mail, but the ordering system doesn't let you choose so it isn't clear which they use by default.
I placed an order and e-mailed them after to see if they could ship via Royal Mail.
They said that there wouldn't be any issues, although tracking/speed isn't as fast as DHL (which I had no issues with).
Order was shipped on Friday and I received it the following Thursday, delivered to Vancouver with no taxes/duties to surprise me at the door.

Their system also automatically deducts VAT, so I was quite satisfied with the level of service received.
