Both Mr Porter and Nordstrom collect duty and taxes up front.

I'm going to buy our legacy sweater and it is 100% wool.

I live in New Jersey and the total amout would be $187.15

will I get hit any import duties or customs fee?

since I live in New Jersey, I won't get any sales tax I guess, but just want to know about import duties.

if anyone knows please let me know.

and also how about import duties on an acne denim jacket which is $230 ?

24 hours after ordering a pair of G&G from Nick at Bespoke England, they are on my feet in Switzerland.
Perfectly packed with customs friendly shipping. 10 out of 10 again.

If I order $185 APC jeans from END shipping to California cost me import duties? I read somewhere that under $200 is fine. I also dont know if END would write the sale price of $140 or pre sale price.
Is the savings even worth it lol.

Under $200 to the U.S. should not have any import fees associated with it. I've bought many things from End and have only had import duties once when my order was ~$1400.

About Centre Commercial : I ordered from them twice : first order, a small bag (value 175 ish), didn't get hit. Second time, sweater value 90$ got hit with 42$ in taxes, duties, etc. Canadian customs are the worst.

    Hey guys,

Just got a package in a couple days ago from Norse Store. 2 sweaters - total value of goods was ~$250. I live in Canada.

I paid $90 in duties + shipping surcharges (I think $55 was duties but I could be wrong). Definitely going to think twice about ordering from Norse Store from now on.

I had an Inverallan sweater show up from END yesterday, and FedEx didn't charge me anything when I picked it up. Living in the US, should I expect to get a bill or something later, or did I just luck out on this one?

Come to Denmark then. Here you'll be certain to pay duties almost every time (any package above the value 13 USD) and you'll also have the pleasure of paying a lot more :)

Has anyone returned an item (with DDP) to an EU retailer to only have them issue a partial refund (subtracting the cost of the DDP)?

Anybody here from outside the European Union who has ordered from Peggs & Sons and know if they mark the package with a customs friendly value?

How are duties calculated for Fedex packages shipped to the US?

My previous Meermin purchases, duties were either $20 - $35, depending whether it's CM or LM. However, my recent duty bill on the museum calfs are $84 ($6.50 advancement fee). Does this sound right?
