damn, no size 28 amongst those pairs?
seriously. btw, bduece, I think you had asked me how many pairs of Aldens I have. Answer is 12. I should be good for the next 30-40 years
Yes, there was a 28. However, it is on its way to the UK right now to my good friend Clee1982.
The 5 pairs weren't for me. Only 1 was.
Although, I like these so much I would not regret having 5 pairs.
Just tumbled the hell out of that pic. Very nice indeed.
mhmm, very naiice. now if only you had the LE too!
what's so special about LE other than heavier fabric?
the fit was terrible ... i sold my 28s on the forum. they fit like size 31s off the rack with like a 8.5 leg opening haha
imo, the waist measurement should almost be a non-issue. if the waistband had jeans construction, yes__ but these got trouser's, which are very much tweakable. it's a simple, straightforward alteration which would take no more than a few minutes.
the only thing you really need to watch for is the thigh measurement, if sizing down for a slimmer fit [ie, if leg opening is acceptable]. 'twas a SD1 for me [on RRL chinos], but @3 days of wear, i believe i couldve even gone down to W30 if i wanted slimmer [since i don't have the thigh issue].... but, i like the slmmish comfort fit i got right now. i expect them to tighten up a bit waaay down the line__ once the raw/stiff novelty wears off & start chucking them in the drying like the rest of my regular clothes.
Also, the Chino's that we got in this batch are marked as 9.23 oz Twill 100 x 50 weave...
what's the consensus on the new release size wise,
i am wearing a 34 in the LEs. Should I go with a 34 or 36 on the new batch?
Problem is trying to get consistent measurements! For the same tagged size I've gotten 2" of measurement variation in the waist and thighs. Is there a very noticeable difference between the 9.23oz and 10.5oz?
Froosh.. I updated my first post in this thread with measurements from the current batch of the 9.23 oz chinos we have right now. Also a proper description of the Chino's and the current sizes we have available.. They match up with the measurements you PM'd me with.. I'm not sure what the deal is with the inconsistency of the specs and weight.. A few members of the RRL team will be in our store one month from now for our shop-in-shop launch event and I will try to ask them some of these questions.. which by the way, you are all welcomed to attend! It's on September 8th. Thanks for the support fellas..
waiting on some work colleagues for lunch
ended up just having the waist tailored, no tapering.
