you need at least 34 inseam to cuff twice I assume. So something like 2 inch cuff?

I cuff twice. End result is somewhere around 1.75-2"

thanks! :fistbump: yeah pretty much. The fabric allows you go back and forth with relative ease. Should also point out that the chinos are all cut with a 34 inseam. My chinos are 34x34 whereas RKD's are 28x34. From photos i have seen, RKD's cuffed chinos cover his ankles whereas with mine a little ankle is exposed.

Depends on your style I guess, I like the stacked look in his pics.

tnx, guys. i checked the inseam after the 1st hot soak & it's around 32.25__ from 33. they're soaking again right now. looks like i might not even have to hem after all :). will do a post soak fit when they dry. btw, mine was tagged 31x32, SD1 from my usual W32x32 in RRL Officer chinos.

RKD and Namor... they don't always cuff, but when they do, they cuff twice.

How does the fabric feel after the soak? Did it take away some of it rigidness or scratchiness? I am considering soaking mine to make them feel softer.

For some reason current season selvedge chinos do not come with an inseam of 34 until you hit the 32 waist mark. I called every store and it was like this, yet context and blake all seem to have 34 inseams. Their seems to be some bad communication between the different RRL store buyers and buyers for places like Blakes, Context, etc.

That's just confusing. Selvedge chinos in 31 would be 32" waist, usual officer chinos in 32 would be a 34" waist.

^i was talking about inseam, as for the waist, they were actually past 33" befor soak. that's why i used "tagged", they're vanity sized. otherwise, i would not have purchased a W31__ i'm a normal 33" on 10-incher rise.

@jimmyfingers__ the fabric softened up a bit. i haven't worn them yet since i threw them in for a 2nd soak. they're still drying.

    edit:
fresh off the hanger__ inseam is @32": POST dbl soak vs RAW fit:
