My 30s came today from RRL Melrose. I am very pleased with them. The only gripe I have is the buttons will need to be reinforced asap as I can see this falling off.

    Measurements (BiG)

    Waist 15.5
    Thigh 11.6
    Knee 8.6
    Leg Open 8.2

so i received them from blake at the end of april and ive tried to wear them at least 2 times a week to work.

so not toooo much. plus i live literally 5 min walk from my firm so its a really easy commute even in dreadful DC heat

:thumbs-up: I agree, tapering is the way to go. but beware, altering those pants is contagious. After I had the leg tapered I took them back to the tailor to get the waist and seat taken in. It begins to feel like you are wearing a completely new pair once you get it tailored.

Nice and slim throughout the thigh area. Look at Namor's fit pics to get an idea on the top block, but ignore the bottom half since he got them tapered.

In SVB pics, you can get an idea on the bottom half. These are much slimmer than the regulation chinos which tend to be on the straight or relaxed side.

These are not super tapered like Petite Standards or Dior, but they are not meant to be like that.

do these loosen up in the thigh at all after a little wear? Tried on size 32 and 33 today. The 32s fit great in the waist, seat, and from the knee down but were just a touch slimmer then ideal in the thigh. The 33s were perfect in the thigh but a little too big everywhere else. I'm leaning towards the 32s I think but thought those of you who have been wearing these might have some advice.

yeah they will loosen up everywhere, especially in the waist. If you can manage the initial tightness of the break in period, I would go with the 32. Otherwise you will be swimming in the 33s in about a few months

I think both Context and Blake "had" 29, couple days ago, you should email them.
