So here's the scoop for those who haven't been following our blake affiliate thread..
The idea is to start fresh with a pair of the selvedge chinos and to wear them as much as possible for a full year.
At the end of the year, blake, LAGuy, and a notable someone from RЯL will vote on who has the best aged pair..
The winner will receive a "very special" prize courtesy of RЯL...

Inseams for the 30? I'm looking for a 30x30. Thanks!

Everyone is going to accuse me of cheating since I got my pair in February but in the interest of fair play I will pledge not to wear mine in April.

Or, well, at least not more than twice in April.

Certainly fewer than four times. That sounds fair, right?

Sounds cool but my chinos just lose a bit of their sheen and get softer after 2 years of wash and wear...

these are 220.00.
they did not have 30 inseams.
I know we are getting a 28 or 29 but not sure how many yet.
these will wear like raw jeans. They are selvedge and should fade in a similar manner but obviously more subtle because of the fabric.
I am going to judge which pair wore best with LAguy and someone who is highly qualified to judge who works for RRL.
hope that answers the questions I saw posted.....

This contest interests me, but I would need a pair of 32W. I don't want to take away from your custom, but is it possible to source the RRL selvege chino elsewhere and still participate?

check out the RRL dedicated thread and you can see some fit pics of the selvedge chinos or just google it. lots of *** lookbooks. and the red ones are officer chinos but are not selvedge and are not part of this contest
