16 minutes and 27 seconds of possession got GSU 33 points and 405 yards.

    1) Remind me why we even bother to (try and) run the ball?
    2) Remind me why Jesse Minter has a job? This defense is exponentially better than last year's and yet we can't stop a bug with a windshield. It was so bad I'm not sure why Liberty didn't go for 2 every time--I doubt we'd have stopped half the conversions.

I wish. With the offense so radically changed to suit Cardale's strengths (read: simplified), I don't think that would help. I honestly don't think it's simple enough. I started noticing he only threw right the first quarter and started counting how many times he threw to the left side of the field. I think by the end of the game I was at 2. And one was a goal line chuck at the line of scrimmage

I was accepted to UF but chose to go to FSU. I also considered Georgia State, but I have a bad back and can't stand in front of a deep fryer all day.

In some ways. But everyone at FSU has friends at UF and vice versa. Not so at Miami, where their fans have traditionally not attended the school (or any other).

And at the actual games, the Miami v. FSU hate is the worst of anything I've ever seen. In the 2001 game, when UM won handily and ruined a promising season, there were so many fights in the stands that TPD began escorting Miami fans out of the stadium in the 4th quarter. In 2003, there were so many fights on the way out of the stadium that I thought a full scale riot would break out.

Of course now that Miami is lousy, their fan base has evaporated (I know, VERY surprising for a South Florida sports team). I went to the game in Coral Gables last year and FSU fans outnumbered UM fans.

I guess Texas does have some fight in them. Too bad they don't have a passing game.

I agree. Tennessee should never wear those grey unis again.

Great win by Texas today. I'd really like to see Charlie Strong turn that program around.

Northwestern played another game which was thoroughly uninteresting. This time for the opposite reason as last week. Oh well. Still 5-1.
