Official 2012 College Football Season Thread

I don't think I've ever particularly looked forward to a UGA-Vandy game. It was always the pushover game on our SEC schedule (though Vandy did sneak in a win not too long ago). The 2011 game changed that. I've been looking forward to this one, mostly because I think UGA is going to put a hurtin' on Vandy after their coach got all after last year's game.

Here, we see Georgia DC Todd Grantham explaining to Vandy HC James Franklin that it's not polite to chase down an opponent's players and yell at them. I believe Grantham may have also said something along the lines of, "you silly man, you coach at Vanderbilt. It's probably unwise of you to start a little feud with one of the nastiest defenses in the country. You do remember that you have to play us every year, right?"

I went outside to check the mail and realized that I had accidentally put on Vandy colors. Changed into a red shirt, even though I plan on watching the game from home tonight.

Florida is looking pretty decent atm; GA/FL this year is going to be a fun one.

Oklahome is doing everything within their power to give K State the game.

Thought Auburn would find a way to beat LSU, but they couldn't get it done. I then turned to Clemson/FSU, and I'm really enjoying this game.

Georgia looked fantastic tonight. They just did everything right. I hope they can keep it up.

Yeah, Florida's looking better than I thought they would. Fortunately for Georgia, Florida's schedule is a meat grinder in October. Florida should be pretty worn down by the time they get to Jacksonville.

FSU's uniform change with the red and gold socks and cleats looks really sharp. It looks much better than the white socks and white/red cleat look they used to sport in the past.
