I don't follow college football all that much other than the Canes (who allowed 45 points to Duke. Fuckin Duke!), but is there some reason that a 12-0 OSU team is unranked?

They are suspended from post season play.

It was a little more complex than just a bunch of free tattoos, but, yeah, they're currently being punished by the NCAA.

Also, note that the AP still has them in their poll, for whatever that's worth.

Auburn looks like a high school team out there today.

It's almost shocking how bad Auburn has been this year. I mean, it's one thing for them to have a down year, but there is just nothing good that has happened for them. It doesn't exactly break my heart, but it's still crazy to watch.

no doubt.... but not THAT much more complex. Not hookers, gambling and bags of cocaine Miami complex... or laundered money, bribes, theft and perjury FL/Blinn/Auburn complex... of course I'm biased but just saying.... realistically it was child's play compared to most of the **** that goes down

I agree, at least with regard to the initial violations. What was so damning in Ohio State's case was the fact that Tressel actively covered it up. If that doesn't happen, the penalties are much less severe.

FWIW, the Auburn thing is no more acceptable to SEC fans than it is to the rest of football. No one I know outside of Auburn, AL has anything but contempt for the way all of that stuff went down.

Miami will get drilled, but that's a systemic, egregious violation of rules that's going to take a while to adjudicate.

agreed 100%... not looking to stir the pot. I know the BiG is not as strong as SEC, but it does suck we can't see an actual head-to-head if Bucks and ND are undefeated.... TV execs are just creaming over the potential ad revenue :nodding:
