That goal line stand by the Buckeyes was legendary. Montee Ball tried to leap over the pile into the EZ and not only got stuffed, but fumbled and turned the ball over. Awesome.

Wisky has the ball back but just got sacked for a loss of 11.

Of course he had gotten a first down on the previous play, but the refs didn't see fit to give it to him.

Man this Oregon/Stanford game is waaaay closer than I predicted. I am very uncomfortable right now. Mariota is looking more flustered in this game than I've ever seen him.

Where the **** is Oregon's passing game right now. Stanford is not a great pass-defense team. Why can't UO's receivers get open?

Heard this and thought it was interesting and might suggest the SEC will remain the dominant conference for a while along with the Pac-1X... the West Coast and Southeast US are the regions experiencing population growth while the Big 10 is rapidly losing population and the industries producing big strong dudes are all but dead there too.
Just a thought.

A regions population makeup does not necessarily equal conference makeup. Top tier teams recruit from everywhere. Also, last I checked the Big 10 was still the richest conference... plus it's top two programs historically, OSU & UM, are on the upswing.

Ugh ******* Kstate. I'm gonna blame them if Alabama sneaks back into the BCS championship game.

edit: and Oregon too

Sorry dude, but your team needs a placekicker before you can talk about them beating an SEC team in a BCS Championship game (which the SEC has never lost)

So what happens when Notre Dame chokes next week? Who is the second team in the BCS title game besides the SEC winner? If it came from the SEC, it would be a team that didn't play in the conference title game, like Florida. It could be Florida State, but they have a bad loss. Probably not K-State, who also has a bad loss. Notre Dame couldn't go to the NC off a loss. Surely. Right?

Well, whatever happens, I'll just sit on the sidelines and conjecture how the Buckeyes would have beaten whomever if they were eligible.

Petty cash and tattoos are waaaaaaaaaay better than BCS titles anyway. The sanctions were worth it.

Was just about to post about this. May not matter if Barkley's injury turns out to be a big deal, since I dunno if USC has much of chance without him.
But yeah... who goes? Maybe KSU or OR would actually have a chance despite just losing?

Right now, (excluding ALA and UG who'll be in the sec champ game, and OR and KSU)
Florida
LSU
Texas A&M
S Carolina
FSU
Clemson

An SEC team would have to be a team that didn't get into their conf champ game, and other than FL, would be a 2 loss team.
