There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I stopped watching after the first half. From what I saw, the Texas DB's really need to learn how to tackle and cover. There were multiple 3rd downs where an OU receiver was wide open or the DB's just flat out didn't tackle the ball carrier. The D-coordinator was calling stupid blitzes which allowed OU offense to have a lot of big plays.

Also, anyone know which Texas player got ran over by the ref?

^^ I think Vegas had TTech favored (yes, an unranked favored over #5). A one dimensional team can only fool people for so long.

ND / Stanford is as good a game as I've watched this season.

Texas Tech defense stepped up today and held one of the top offenses to only a touchdown with about 3 minutes left to play.

Funny how you chose to respond now, instead of last week when they gave up 41 points.

Just saying the defense isn't complete crap and they deserve their due this time. Holding West Virginia to 14 pts is pretty good. Last week, they deserved to be criticized.

OU moves to 8-3 vs. Texas when both are ranked in the top 20. When WILL Mack Brown be replaced? It's a shame that ConcernedParent edited out the start of the OU touchdown play, where the OU player pwns two UT defenders:

Mack is going to be there for awhile since he signed an extension this year. To buy him out would cost a shit ton of money even for Texas' standards. It's through 2020 with a raise of $100k every year with him making $5.2M this year.

I think Phil Fullmer is the only coach in the past 20 years to be fired from a team where he won a National Championship... and you can see how great that program got when they fired him.

Mack Brown has as many BCS titles as Okla. The team is a contender every year... gets a top 10 recruiting class, etc. It took a LOT for Ohio State to finally fire John Cooper for never beating Michigan... and if he had ever won a National Title, I'm not sure it could have been done, as frustrating as his 2-10-1 record against that school up north was.

What about Bobby Bowden and Larry Coker?

But yeah, I don't see Texas firing Mack Brown for at least 2 more seasons due to his large contract but I doubt he'll get any more extensions either unless he magically whens another national championship within the next 4 years. Interestingly enough, the downfall started when the LHN was launched. It's not just the football program but almost the whole athletic program that's been in a funk the past 2 years even though the money has never been better.

    Technically you're right, I suppose...

Coker won with Davis's players, and then failed to repeat the next year with a stacked team against a Buckeye squad that was -1400 in vegas on the money line (I was at that game, and a good friend made that bet for a shit-ton of money).

Bowden was pressured into retiring... I"m not sure they would have given him the Paterno card for perpetual grace, but... I don't think they would have gone public with an involuntary sacking if he said he wasn't ready. Maybe I'm wrong.
