It's more puzzling than that. Do you remember their last competition, the Euro 2008? They didn't win a game, still they kept Domenech!

It's pretty ridiculous. Players hate him, players hate each other mostly because they hate him. This is the anti-98 team - no team spirit or desire to play whatsoever

I miss Andres but still prefer the Spanish commentary to the English. The Spanish language commentators were cracking me up during the Germany game because they kept pointing out that two of the goals were scored by players born in Poland and one by a player born in Brazil.

It's because he took them to the finals in 06. In football it's all about your accomplishments. This pretty much explains why players like Karembeu, Kleberson and Julio Baptista enjoy/ed such long careers. And it's why coaches like Domenech, van Gaal and Felipao still get paid millions eventhough they are ****.

That's funny for about five seconds. Then you have to put up with the guy and his ridiculous anecdotes for the remaining 89:55.

I was laughing more at the announcer because he thought he was being witty but he just ended up sounding stupid. Like I said, I really miss Andres Cantor, does anyone know if he is doing any English language commentary this world cup?

I make my own Germany - Poland jokes while imagining James May saying them.

Isn't it the manager's job to coach them and choose a harmonious and effective team?

Instead of coming up with tactics and fielding a team that actually matched the Mexicans, he spent all of his time choosing his wardrobe.

Yes and no - Zidane didn't play much in the group stages. But no doubt he carried them all the way to the finals once he got over his suspension.

I'm sure when they get kicked out, they'll shrug their shoulders and go c'est dommage.

Seriously. van Gaal is one of what? 3 coaches to ever win the CL with 2 clubs?

HAHA. I absolutely dislike Domenech. His insistence to not play Henry is even more of a joke . He looks like a school teacher on the sidelines. axe him now!
