Exactly. To be fair I’ve only one pair and they are acceptable quality. Exceedingly cheap for the cordovan boots and I had it confirmed they use Maestro range materials on cordovan boots. Shinki cordovan on mine are luscious!

That said Trickers cordovan inbound...

Already ordered ??‍♂️ I have s pair Horween mahogany cordovan boots from Enzo Bonafe do I’ll do a little comparison when these shinki meermin ones arrive.

A U.K. shop had a black waxy monkey boot made recently (not an Ethan-different model on 4444). Looked a bit severe, with mods would’ve cool. Hugo boot.

That's a very interesting model - I could definitely see myself in a GMTO based on that (different leather & sole though).

I wondered if Trickers did a waxy Stow/Eaton how it would compare to Viberg's waxy Kudu, as Viberg's one seemed rather dry. Nothing like Waxy Commander which is a shame.

I might ask CF Stead/Richard if there's any other Waxy Commander colours. I've already got a shopping list for the future ha
