Division Road has Trickers (logger and dean) in a Scandinavian Elk and Kudu. Both waxed and rough looking. Maybe like a nubuck. How would one go about treating that leather long term. I am one that enjoys throwing down some Pate De Luxe. I realize one could treat them like a smooth calfskin but would that be frowned upon?

When my waxy cuba shoes became too distressed, I hit them with a light light light coating of Obenauf's heavy duty LP. A Beeswax/Propolis mixture that melts in your hands but soaks into leather. Same with all the rough out leather boots I have from other brands.

Album first...

Gentlemen, I present the Sign Kudu Crafty Edition!

Dang – those are shockingly good looking!

I also agree with above comments on the Ridgeway – that's a nice sole. I especially like how the heel looks.

BTW I'm still puzzled with the Kudu colours. The Polo is easy, but caramel and sign can look very similar. I have a "caramel" pair which looks exactly like Sign... lovely leather.

Have you ever inquired about perhaps doing some of the unique leathers from CF Stead. There’s so many from CF Stead like the Deerskin you are using now. I can only speak for myself but I’d really like to see more unique leathers :)
Hi

This seems like a good idea. At present we tend to rely on the manufacturer to source the leathers - but perhaps we could source the leather directly?

I would be concerned that perhaps the leather suppliers would deal with manufacturers who would be ordering larger quantities. However, it is certainly worth considering and inquiring!

Superb. Didn't you get multi colour Kudu boot earlier this year also?.
I did.

I sold that as I bought an 8.5 (last of that batch) and am a solid 9...

I’d thought they weren’t being produced again and then they were so decided to sell and get what I wanted anyway!

Much prefer the sign over tricolour.

I have a snowdon and Trickers stow both in the same size and find them a similar fit. The Stow is possibly marginally wider.

That’s the 4497s last
I have a Snowdon and Grassmere (4497S last) in the same size and I would say the latter is a snugger fit for me.

Not a leather fan, too damn wet here!

Got a Rendenbach sole en route (none Trickers related content..) which are supposed to be ok with water. Watched a piece on them and apparently the tanning process makes them actually stronger in water!
I wouldn’t mind a review on that. ??

You may have a point there, my Stow is nearly 3 years old and my Snowdon's are starting to feel more spacious as they gradually break in so I could see the Stow's ending up snugger.

Are your Grassmere a fitting 6 or 5 ? The kudu Grassmere where a 5 where they not ?
