I’m digging these “Henry” dealer boots in burgundy museum calf. Gonna be in London in a couple weeks so looking forward to checking them out on Jermyn St. I have Bourtons in the same color and the commando sole means I’m sold.

I’ve got them in brown museum calf (dainite sole though) and they’re a weapon! I have the burgundy Museum on the Stow (also dainite). Plan on just using neutral polish when the time arises.

They’re on 4444 (Henry) so I had to get a nine which is technically half up for me but with thicker socks they’re fine.

Just remembered my profile pic is the Henry!

for sure. my Trickers with commando soles are probably the toughest shoes/boots i own. Would hate to be kicked in the face by them.

I already know I'll love the Henry's, will just depend if they have my size but i can go up half size no problem and use an insole/thick socks and they're a-ok

is there a recommendation for a Trickers last for a somewhat narrow foot? Allen Edmonds 511 or Crockett and Jones 228 lasts are examples of a good fit. My impression from just viewing on the internet is that most Tricker’s would be best for a wider foot. But I could be wrong?

I have a snowdon and Trickers stow both in the same size and find them a similar fit. The Stow is possibly marginally wider.

That’s the 4497s last

Thanks Reiner. My only worry about “marginal” is that on the 228 the laces are closed almost perfectly. not much room for play. But I really want a pair of Trickers. Guess I could do the heavier sock thing.

Trickers 2298 last is a lot narrower than 4497S and even narrower than 4444 (usually Bourton).

They aren’t tremendously available but some US retailers like Division Road seem to order their stock in that last as it’s a lot sleeker. Dependant on where you are geographically may be worth a try if free returns?

great idea. I had looked at DR the other day and saw the Trickers but did not note the different last. Will chew on that for awhile. It sure is a pretty page of boots. The Vibergs would be more interesting if they were lined.

There really isn't much in it between the two, I think you would most likely get away with it.

Or there's always the 2298 as @Crafty Cumbrian suggested
