There's 20 percent off Trickers Outlet now, anyone got their eye on anything?

PS - It makes this boot worth £245 now, doesn't seem that popular with the vast number of sizes available. Holding out for perhaps a Shell in the future, saving those pennies.

Shell is definitely worth trying. I’m impressed with my 1st shell pair so far and they should hopefully get better.

@Crafty Cumbrian How are you getting on with your shell pair?

Seller just listed 'Zug'. Don't know how old are they, maybe someone can tell?

I think that kind of nail pattern on heel means they are fairly old. Exactly how old I have no idea.

Did they not sell? They’re really nice.

I saw a NOS pair of Keswick on eBay made for a shop which no longer exists. Was fairly tempted as they looked nice but price was quite high.

Would probably be a touch big for me also

Not loads of wear as has been ridiculously wet! New to shell but a wet spot when got caught in a shower suggested higher maintenance!

I believe the wet spots disappear with a bit of brushing etc but I also have been avoiding wet conditions with my shell pair.

I think for the most part it just needs a lot of brushing and very occasional conditioning. Maybe once a year?

Conditioned mine already as a couple of dry spots. Consensus of the internet suggested those could’ve been avoided in the clicking stage but as shell is at a premium they leave it sometimes. Improved the shine straight away. Been ridiculous weather to be fair.

Yep, hardly any opportunities to wear mine.

@Reiver the pattern on the medallion of those NOS Keswicks is subtly different from the current one. They look to be from the 1980s or earlier. As you can tell I take an unhealthy interest in that kind of detail....

Good plan, I’m sure they’d be very reasonably priced

Ha, indeed :)

Yeah, it looks really unique. Not sure what colour I’d go for though, they all look great in their own ways. Do Trickers make a limited stock shell boot every year or is it incredible rare for them to do it?

Now they have the bank holiday sale, 20% off. lol That’s something else, that.

Also, see the Stow is available in various colours and textures, including marron.

Good job I’m all booted out. ??

Could have saved £55 if I had waited . Not worried tbh , I’ve always done well with sales etc.. and I think not being to hung up on the £s helps .

Pics from my visit with my Tony at Botanic Boot & Shoe Repairs . He’s restoring a pair for an older gent , who happened to find a shoe catalogue from 1915 in his loft and gave it to Tony .

I’ll take the Willow Calf style number 121, comes with free delivery which is a plus. I tried sending payment by homing pigeon but unfortunately I’ve not hear anything back.

They didn't sell, but not relisted yet. I thought they could be really old, and the darker leather could be a result too.

They look like Otley.

In fact, they are Otley.
Are Otley 'zug'? I googled, the Otley grain and color from what I see, are more 'modern' than the listing, which could be just a special order for some store.
