The ‘last’ time your friends will acknowledge you in public. ?

Luv it! I do actually have a pair of Dr Martens that only come out on very rare and special occasions...

I was planning to make a post requesting opinions to this thread´s members about the Robert derby, but then I realize that the answer will be cheerfully positive (specially if it comes from @Crafty Cumbrian or @zippyh to whom I thank on advance).

So I decided to restrain any request for suggestions and just buy them.

Thank you all for sharing your insights and sense of humour this last 2 years.

Cheers

Which one are you getting? I really like the natural Dublin variation that Division Road has.

I've always chose brogues (4444) over plain derbies (2298) in the past. But my recent plain derby may have changed my mind on these. The plain derby is not as boring as I thought they were. 2298 last is quite sleek.

Does anyone has these apron derby from the outlet? They don't look like they have the country welts, but welted just like their city shoes. Do they feel different?

I’ve got or had a few pairs of made in England DMs. Some very nice shoes, well made, not quite in the same league as Trickers though.

Agreed - if only Tricker's did a silk covered model, I'd be first in line!

Happy new year all.

Yeah unseasonably warm here too. On a separate note, I Am experiencing a bit of pain on the inside top of my foot ( just above the big toe ) when flexing the foot and was wondering how the good people on this group deal with foot pain around the vamp of their boots.

That's probably where the creasing in the vamp is hitting the top of your foot, especially if it's a newish shoe. I counter this with thicker socks and with the hope that once the shoe breaks in better, the discomfort will likely disappear.
