I much prefer the natural welt and edge. The welt will eventually darken to a nice light caramel color.I do tend to put them on the shelves in bags, well the ones that dont stay in the boxes.
I got these Naster MC,I like the leather, colour, shape etc but the welt and sole are a bit too much for me.

You can’t go wrong with Stows in acorn. Classic choice. This leather is beautiful. Works great with my love of mustard and golden brown tones. very similar color to the mustard Momotaro flannel I have on today.
My feeling is that Tricker’s look much better than I imagined from the pictures I saw online. When looking at pictures online I was unsure how flattering the shape and pattern would be in person.
Same boat, not a big fan of natural welts...prefer a more subtle transition....I've a similar shoe, minus the medallion on the toe and found just using a darker polish tones things down a fair amount. My shoes arrived today......
Lovely shoes but with the plain sole and brass eyelets theres a bit too much going on.
I am going to try and colour the sole dark brown.
I will try and get a before and after picture done.

Sacrilege! ?
As they say 'different strokes for different folks'.I much prefer the natural welt and edge. The welt will eventually darken to a nice light caramel color.
Nice, what colour do you polish them ?Same boat, not a big fan of natural welts...prefer a more subtle transition....I've a similar shoe, minus the medallion on the toe and found just using a darker polish tones things down a fair amount.
Other than that the MC leather makes a rather hardy shoe.

Sacrilege! ?
Dark brown shoe cream which tones down the welt or one can dye them to totally darken the leather and stitching.Nice, what colour do you polish them ?

Damn my small feet! ?Thank you sir. I prefer natural welt but it’s personal choice all jokes aside.
