We've just been given the "stay-at-home order" this week here in Ontario, but I still manage (need ) 1 1/2 to 2 hours of walking a day, excluding shopping.
Relatively speaking it's been a fairly mild winter, no minus 20 C and blizzards, so a good rotation on the Tricker's front so far. ;)

I'm envious. There is literally no sort of winter climate in Southern California currently. We've only had about maybe a week's worth of cold cloudy weather and overall it's been sunny. It was 30 C yesterday.

For everyone talking about post Brexit effect -

'
are first, a “Brexit charge”, as the couriers are calling it, an export fee of £4.50 for every parcel shipped to the EU to cover costs of extra administration and form filling that couriers must carry out.

Second, there is a “deferment account fee” of £5 per parcel that covers couriers’ costs of pre-paying import charges in the destination country; and third, a “disbursement charge” which is set at different levels in each EU country with a minimum of about €14 per parcel, or calculated as a percentage of the value of the goods, whichever is the higher, plus VAT in the destination country. This covers the costs of the tax authority in the recipient country inspecting and processing the parcels.

Read this Guardian article too and just having ordered two items shortly before Brexit which have now arrived shortly after Brexit I can confirm that. Alas.

So I am in too for a good source for Tricker's and other UK footwear in the EU as importing from the UK is a no go for me from now on...

Yeah I think I managed to just miss all the added charges. I'd ordered a pair of Cheaney's and they got into the country before New Year's so just dodged that whole mess. I have to say, I was already tapering my current bit of ordering but this whole shebang has made me quit cold turkey pretty much. You could just order from EU based websites, but not sure how that works with the VAT add \ remove bit. Never tried.

YOOX should look more favourable to EU buyers now as they will have lost a good chunk of UK sales due to the taxes and duties they now have to impose on UK buyers.

They always had different prices for different countries as well. Been sent links from members in Germany say where a particular pair were substantially cheaper than UK Yoox. That was before this bullshit. Weird
Aren’t masses of EU Trickers retailers. With covid probably even less independents will be here, perfect storm.
