They'll send it to collections, you'll send them a "Verify this debt as valid" letter, they can't verify it because you never signed anything with them, they go after the sender, sender is then reluctant to ever send you anything again.
I suppose the sender could then go after you at that point.

The DHL fee is a somewhat reasonable $6 as compared to Fedex $30.
Of course DHL also fked up the duty categorzation again and charged 10% when I think the correct rate is more like $8.
That's better than the last time when they used 12.5%

guess i'll know by today or tomorrow then. but is it just me or did you think that Richard's prices on these were pretty low? Far cheaper (compared to retail OTR Trickers) than i thought it'd be, so even with a $50 custom fee, the price is damn reasonable.

How much did you pay? I paid 283gbp and change.
I think he charged a shoe price rather than a boot price but other than that it seems the standard OTR price ex-VAT.
    He's charging 295 on his site https://www.shoehealer.co.uk/Tricke.../Tricker_s_Lollipop_Red_Monkey_Boot_2345.html

It's a pair on standard Stows on the 4497, mogano (mahogany?) shell, silver eyelets, natural Barbour welt, double mid-sole with studded Dainite.
Never handled this Argentinian shell though, it would be an interesting comparison to Horween's - would like a long-wing in the 'iris' shell sometime if the Argentinian stuff is good :)

You saw the shell long wings from Fran's Boone, right?

^ Yep, I've seen them online before.

I saw the Iris shell on a Japanese blog once - not a popular colour, but I do really like it. Very dark blue with a hint of purple it seems.

Edit: Ooops, correction, the shell on mine are Horween, not from Argentina. So Tricker's does use Horween for the majority of their shell, only other sources from rarer colours.
