UK 9 in Trickers is US 9.5 .. so that’s roughly 1.5 size down from ur sneaker size ..

He was asking specifically about the Ilkley which is on the 4444 last. The 4444 last is about 1/2 size larger than normal.

if i'm a US 12 in most sneakers, would a UK 10 suffice in the ilkley as i understand the last is generous? if it makes a difference i live in australia so will be mostly wearing thinner cotton socks as opposed to thick wool.

unfortunately i don't really own anything comparable: the closet thing would be some red wing postmans which collect dust because they're too narrow.

I’m a UK 11 so US 12 I think in sneakers. I wear a UK 10 1/2 for my Ilkleys although could probably manage a UK 10 for a snugger fit.

Great shoes

Can anyone with a UK9 Stow tell me the interior width at it's widest point?

The burger post reminds me of the one and only time I traveled to Northampton to check out the factory shops. A website suggested that I visit a place called Magee’s Bakery, which is just across the road from Crockett & Jones. There I ordered this sandwich (or, as I prefer to call it, butty). It was big enough to feed two people. But I put it away all by myself. Because that’s what I do. :)

Great shoes

Probably. I wear 11US in New Balance and Nike. I take a 9UK in 4444 and can still wear thick socks.

i'm torn between a 10 and 10.5. i've bad luck recently with shoes being too small, so maybe i'll try the larger of the two...
