I’m actually looking at getting a pair but darker or in the Stow version, what’s the suede like on it and how’s it in the rain, any different perhaps?

I'm in too. Unfortunately, Tricker's aren't offering any cordovan at the moment so that concept might have to go on hold :(

After a couple of years of "abstinence," I feel my boot addiction is kicking into full swing again. Uh oh.
A couple of stows that I am circling around like a shark. Also a really nice burgundy calf Alden based on a jump boot. I don't know if my wallet can deal with the trauma...

In general, Tricker's use great suede. These are no exception. The color is good for shrugging off rain and a little dirt.

That was originally done for Herring Shoes. Note the style name Boorman. Herring also did a wingtip boot with the funky toe patch called the Charley. They're both motorcycle styles to tie in with the Charley Boorman & Ewan McGregor tv show Long Way Round.

The monkey shoes look pretty cool. It's a €600 sneaker though... and the soles are no-go for me.
