I’m not really into chelsea boots or brogues, but the colour of these boots looks fine to me. If I had a problem with anything, it would be the jeans. They are perfectly fine. They just need to be tailored. Spend a few quid getting them shortened and tapered.

I’m done with tappered jean TBH.
It’s weird the jeans look fine cuffed with most boots, but a bit naff with chelseas.

Chelsea boots definitely need tapered jeans in my opinion.

The boots were probably originally worn with tweed trousers so if nothing else it’s authentic. Where I live if you were (for reasons unknown!)to go to a farmers auction I’d guarantee half would be wearing those boots, very popular.

Most of my jeans are straight leg but I think the leg length being correct definitely helps. Not too baggy and not tight just a good fit.

I have a pair that are tapered but it is a really subtle taper. I’ve tried some jeans which were heavily tapered and wasn’t a fan.

I think some people lose sight of the fact that the point of coming to a website like this is to improve one’s style. To know the right way to dress and look better. Yet we have scruffy looking people throwing their tat around, declaring they don’t give a damn what people think. Well... they can’t complain if it’s pointed out to them.
