I look at the Tricker’s Outlet and there are plenty of boots available in 6.5. You’re spoilt for choice.

I see what you mean. Filter by my 9.5 size and 52 of 55 styles available. Filter by 6.5 and 6 of 55.

Scored some stows from Mr Porter in brown burnished calf. The burnishing is way too sudden for my liking and looks cheap. Is this easy to lighten or should I just return and wait for the trickers sale.

In my experience it’s easy to accidentally remove the burnishing. I was polishing a pair with neutral polish. I was careful once I noticed what was going on and I reburnished the spot where it came off.

Thank you. Sounds promising then.

When does the sale usually start on Trickers.com and what's the discount normally? :)

This is the boot in question thanks for the tips. Need to contact Mr P about a scratch you may be able to see anyway. Anyone come across "funchol" before, is it a color or material?

That’s a bit more burnishing than I’d want to try taking off unless they were really cheap. I’d probably send back.

its a waxy leather and is a type as opposed to a colour. Will age nicely and be a lovely colour over time I’d think. From memory you don’t polish them as the leather is pull up, meaning the oil comes up to the surface when cleaned.
