My first pair of Trickers. I think I'm going to like these a lot... and I seemed to nail the size down the first time. [IMG]

    Update...about the size...

I wore them around the house and just walked outside for 45 minutes. Because they are so wide I'd say they feel about a 1/4 size large wearing a medium sock.
There was a little slippage going on and enough to start a blister forming.

There's no way however that I could have sized down another half size without my toes rubbing/bunching.

    I wear a 11US in a sneaker. 10US in Red Wings. 10US in Clarks DB. These are a 9.5UK.

I'm not sure how much they'll loosen up but I'll either have to wear thick socks or maybe an insole.

Caught tons of people staring at em already....

How does the Stow fit compared to the Keswick?

I found the Keswick to be pretty generous. I'm a size 8 in Alden's Trubalance, and Barrie last. A size 7 for the Keswick fits nicely.

Surly, Where did you get those? I contacted retricker on ebay and he had nothing of my size neither did Brooklyn circus. Also how much wider are they compared to a desert boot. I wear size 9.5d desert boots, 9d/e allen edmonds.

Stow is slightly less generous than Keswick/Bourton. Mostly it's through the instep. Toe and length are about the same.
I wear same size in Stows and Keswicks.

    Pediwear.

Not sure how to explain the width. It's only been a day..

They just feel slightly wider/roomier. They can help you find your size with those shoe sizes you already know.

I'm in the same boat as NAMOR. In fact, I'm considering selling my 8.5 UK, standard width espresso Stows to fund some recent purchases. I originally posted photos back on page 4 of this thread. They have leather soles to which I've added a topy (they were just too slippery in the rain). Any interest at $350?

    Hello,

Anyone had success getting Shoe Healer to price match The Bureau or Present?

Not sure where you're based, but for orders to the USA, once you factor in shipping Shoe Healer is lower priced. Shoe Healer shipping is included, The Bureau charges 35gbp. Shoe Healer does have a price match form on the site though.

Just a word of caution about the grey, single sole Bourton on eBay UK - I bought them as advertised as a UK 7.5, but I received a UK 7. Other sizes are still on sale on eBay. If you're buying, ask the seller what's written on THE BOX. It should be a size, followed by a width. Mine were 7E.

Seller probably just got confused. A Trickers shoe in a size 7 will say 7 5 on it meaning size 7 fitting 5. Most people don't realise that a Trickers size 7.5 is written 7 1/2 5 on the shoe.

Plus Shoe Healer and Pediwear (about same price) also include free trees on standard models.
Herring shoes also has free shipping to the US on Tricker's.
