The gold MC sorta/kinda appeals to me. What does the MC indicate? Anyone have some comparison pics of 1001 & Gold? I like the navy too, just not sure I'd wear it much. Never thought about it being so dark that it appears black (a color I never wear).

Talking of Stows in acorn and gold - and with natural welt and black welt - it really is a head scratcher. How is it that these can be on the Outlet for £275, yet the same boot with brown welt (or whatever you call it - stained?) is on the main website for £425? I’m pretty sure that if you wanted the boot with a dark welt, you could buy it with the light and have it stained by a local cobbler for a tenner or so. I can’t imagine those who stock Tricker’s are thrilled with this easy access to reduced price shoes. (Next I’ll be told the shoes on the Outlet are what have been returned by stockists! Waiting... lol)

Spray paint? SPRAY PAINT!? You need the help of a rather skilful Frenchman. @MSAINT

They are dark. Do you size down with these or are they the same size as the stow or grassmere for example? Thanks. :)

I like the brown cavalier leather Stows. The 1001s too.

Guilty admission: I'd consider the moc-croc Stows if they were a whole bunch cheaper.

General advice is to size down half I believe but I wear true to size as I usually wear thick socks, crap circulation!

Anyone here having problems with Coggles shipping to US? It's been 2 weeks since i ordered and i havent it til now. Upon checking in their tracking, the item was out for delivery already, but then it was returned to sender as of today. When I order from UK, it usually just takes 2-3 days to be shipped to the US.

I’m a size 9 and, to be honest, usually I find size 9 C&J and Cheaney shoes quite roomy. Then I hear that Tricker’s are notoriously large for the size, people advising to size down, etc.. This made me unsure of what size to go for. However, when I first wore the kudu Grassmere’s, they fit like a glove. Possibly I would have to cut my toes off to squeeze into a size down. So much for that. So I will stick with size 9 with country shoes and boots and only consider going down to 8.5 with dress shoes. Thank you. :)
