Yes, just in case people hadn’t got the message by now - I know most will have - the Tricker’s Outlet website is doing a 20% off Valentines deal. There’s nothing there for me at the moment. Which is good because I’ve spent too much already buying the Grassmere in caramel kudo. Hint hint, watching Tricker’s rep - MORE Grassmere options please. Preferably not bright purple with pink sole!

Trickers have been doing those weird colors for as long as I can remember. Lately, the ones that bug me though are all the shiny bookbinder leather ones.

I just nibbled on some grain Bourtons from the outlet. Kinda funky orange It’s Hide soles but that’s more a Paul Smith level of flamboyant versus straight up spaceman.

Sorry I dig this up from way back, but may I ask if you take the same size for both Kelso and Grassmere? And same with your Stow?
Sorry if you've mentioned it before in the thread, do appreciate your sizing advice on this.

Yep. Kelso is an Alfred Sargent FX but it's not that wide at all in all honesty. AFs are really good fit for me.

Looking at this, the Grassmere appears a little sleeker, which I like. Eventually I will probably have a pair in the so-called ‘zug’ grain.

    Thanks a lot indeed!
Though I'm afraid Kelsos are vanishing even faster than Kudu!:)

I think you can only get the Kelsos at Tredders now, though I did see pairs last year at a shop in some small sea side town down south but can't for the life of me remember where it was. I talked to the guy in there about Tricker's and AS and he told me Tricker's were going to put up their prices (which they did) and were considering producing a veldtschoen (haven't yet). Tredders have sales every now and then, offering 20% off site wide. Also, if you fill a basket at Tredders and then quit the site they send you a reminder to complete the purchase with a 5% off code as a carrot. AS made a new batch of Kelsos for Tredders, which are the ones on the site, but prices went up to £390 from £285. These may well be the last ever made...

Thanks for the full background story, saved me from lots of search myself. Tredders was where I hoped to find my size years ago, glad to see them back.

    Get the navy Axtons.
Navy Stows are pretty regularly available.

I have the bourton navy and in reality they look almost black.

No pics I’m afraid as on holiday!
