Evil Wes Bourne forced me to get Froswicks from Herring. Main difference between these and the Ark ones seems to be the no pulls on the Arks ones. For those keeping track, the medallions on these differs from the Stow, Bourtons, Paisley, STP Not-Stows. Thumbs up to Herring. Ordered in the late afternoon pacific time last Thursday. Shipped out of the UK Friday and arrived here today. Ended up being 243GBP (free shipping, plus look for a 10% Herring coupon on their twitter).
How did you get the free shipping to the US and did they have any other option for delivery other than UPS? Great Shoes, in fact gorgeous

This banner appears on the Church's and Tricker's pages at Herring.
They were shipped UPS. I don't recall there being another option.

the froswicks are gorgeous- great price too..
could you comment on how the last compares in sizing/shape with the 4497? i believe its slightly larger + more rounded toe?

The 4444 last is what they use on the Bourtons too. It feels slightly larger than the 4497 but not enough for me to get a diffent size. Toe area feels about the same but they seem higher volume especially around the instep. They look the same to my eye.

I should mention that the leather on these Froswicks is the softest smoothest feeling leather I've ever had on a pair of Tricker's. I'm quite pleased with these.

Question about coloring for the Trickers regent in beechnut burnished:

Which color is more accurate? Is the shoe dark brown or chesnut? I really can't tell considering various pictures seem to show very different complexions.
